About Our Speakers

Katie is the branch manager of the San Diego office of RE Chaix & Associates Insurance Services, Inc. a California wholesale insurance company.  Prior to joining RE Chaix & Associates, Katie was president and owner of Katie Freeman Insurance Services.  Her company specialized in all lines of professional liability, crime, fiduciary and kidnap and ransom insurance.  Katie's insurance and managerial experience spans back to 1975  where she has held various positions such as an underwriter and professional liablility department manager. 

Larry has spent over 20 years developing a property rental business as well as working in the insurance industry as a salesman, sales manager, and underwriting manager for State Compensation Insurance Fund.  Prior to his tenure in the insurance industry, Larry spent 20 years as a teacher, coach and administrator in various public and private schools in California and Arizona.
