Often it is the small areas of coverage language that can cause problems or changes that have occurred over time within the coverage forms that can results in denial of claims. These types of restrictive language can have a significant impact on the insured's coverage and upon the agent/brokers obligations to identify, discuss and disclose the existence and impact on coverage with the insured.

Cross Suits Liability Exclusion on the CGL
Maintenance of Underlying on an Umbrella
Definition of "advertising" on a GL and impact on IP coverage
Certificate Warranty on Liability
CP Valuation Clause on "finished stock" - form language modification
Inclusion of suite number on premises and impact on Business Income claims
Lack or word on Business Income form "covered" which affords broad coverage on the form
