Construction Contracts (Rescheduled)

A course designed to introduce the insurance professional to various construction contracts and their relationships and issues.  This will provide information types of contracts, classifications, specifications, the AIA and the various ways to provide protection through insurance vehicles.  It will also address the indemnity and hold harmless issues.  This is a must for agents and brokers who work in the construction  industry, from those who provide the protection to those providing certificates of insurance and all they entail.

Richard S. Price II

Rick Price was born in Whittier and raised in La Habra. He attended the University of California at Riverside where he graduated with high honors with a degree in Economics. Following graduation, he enrolled at the University of California, Davis School of Law, graduating in 1982.

Rick has been practicing law in Fullerton since 1984 with the firm of Ballard, Wimer, Brockett & Edwards. Rick specializes in real estate and business law. His clients are primarily small to medium sized businesses located in Southern California, but also include national and publicly traded companies.

Rick is an "AV" rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards.  Since 1987 Rick has been acting as a Judge Pro Tem in the Orange County Superior Court. In 1994 was selected to act as an Arbitrator in the Orange County Superior Court. He has also acted as a private mediator.

Rick is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court. Rick served as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Fullerton from 2000-2005, serving as its Chairman in 2003.
